Suburban Studios Auburn Hills - Detroit

Liz, one of the ladies that runs the front desk, usually night shifts; she's great. She was a great help; was consistent/ and immediate with anything and everything I asked for and needed help with. Extremely kind and welcoming.

Excellent option for moderately priced studio hotel rooms, with a mini kitchen and giant fridge. The front desk staff is attentive and polite. The location is great because it’s right off the freeway and there are multiple restaurants around. They do a good job there.

Had a wonderful day at this hotel the room was extremely clean. The staff is very courteous and treat you like family Matt, bear, Jeremiah and Brittany are amazing. I was here for a week. They always had smiles on their face and we’re always happy to help with whatever I needed wonderful place to stay If you need somewhere with a kitchen, quiet and clean!

All I can say is WOW I have never stayed somewhere where I was so comfortable I could walk down to the desk and just talk with the front desk about my day. The staff here is beyond amazing they take care of each guest and become very personable from the housekeeping JR and TT shout out for the amazing rooms! to the front desk Brittany and Bear! Marv in maintenance and Matt the manger everyone knows you by name and make sure they always ask how your stay is going I Stayed here for 4 months and I will come back again and again!

The front desk chick was very helpful and was definitely not bitchy. There was a mistake in how I made my reservation and Heather fixed everything and made our trip to Auburn Hills wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel

I want to thank Richard, Matt, J.R., and everyone else that works at Suburban Studios! They treated us like family, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! The rooms are clean, price is great, and the staff all get a 10+!!! Thanks everyone!!

This place has definitely taken a turn for the better since new ownership. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and good energy. The rooms were well kept and clean, and the rates were very competitive. If I could give 10 stars based on hospitality alone, I would. The sweetest staff. Will definitely be utilizing this location again, if needed.

I walked in to check in at Suburban Suites having one of those days — the kind where everything just feels heavy and overwhelming. From the moment I stepped up to the front desk, Heather immediately made a difference. Her warm smile and genuine kindness instantly put me at ease and made me feel welcomed. The check-in process was smooth and easy, but what stood out most was how sincere and caring Heather was. It didn’t feel like just another transaction — she truly made me feel like she cared about making my stay comfortable. Throughout my stay, anytime I had a question or needed help with something, Heather was always friendly, patient, and happy to assist. She consistently went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of, and you can genuinely tell she cares about the guests and the experience they have. People like Heather make all the difference. Her kindness and professionalism turned a stressful day into a much better one, and I’m truly grateful for that. Suburban Suites is lucky to have someone like her at the front desk. Thank you, Heather, for your warmth and for going above and beyond.
